SEN Connect
Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation - Stubbs Road (HKAHF-SR) and the WEMP Foundation have jointly launched the "SEN CONNECT" programme to subsidise pupils suspected of having special educational needs (SEN) from underprivileged families in seeking diadnosis and treatment at Adventist Child and Adolescent Development Center. Two organisations will provide relevant assistance to 1,000 eligible puplis in the first phase of the programme.
Details of program
- Psychiatric consultation, medication / non-medication treatment
- Individual or group interventions for clients or their carers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, etc. and initiate referrals as needed
Eligibility
- Aged 4-14 children
- Hong Kong Permanent Residents
- Pass the financial criteria
- HA new case in child and adolescent psychiatric booking appointment slip (The waiting period is more than 6 months after submitting the application form)
